EXCELLENT Based on 55 reviews Posted on Tripadvisor Veronica BVerified WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE WITH REAL AFRICA SAFARIS The Botswana experience with Real Africa Safari deserves so many stars! We spent 5 days camping in Moremi, Savuti, and Chobe, and the entire team was exceptional, from the food to the equipment and the huge smiles they gave us every day! Simon is also truly special in his work. He has a great dedication and passion for animals, and this shows in his ability to find them and in the kind explanations he shared with us! I think we couldn't have had a better experience with better people than Simon and the team! Thank you so much!Posted on Tripadvisor Valentina BVerified Fantastic mobile camping safari trip I spent 5 days with Simon and the team on a beautiful mobile camping safari in the wildness discovering the beauty of Moremi, Savute and Chobe Riverfront. We had the chance to see incredible wild scenes, several animals, often very close to us, thanks to the ability of Simon which is an expert in animal behaviour. Also Simba and Kile were setting up every night a new campsite, providing great food, hot water for the shower, and in general took care of all of our needs. Couldn’t ask for more, and I absolutely recommend Real Africa Safari to anyone whom would like to experience some days into the wild!Posted on Tripadvisor ShazF7Verified We loved it! This was the second safari of our honeymoon to Botswana. With this safari the following made it one we loved -1. Simon showed patience, an understanding of animal behaviour, knew and remembered safari was not just about the big cats but the other wonderful things you can see if you take the time to sit and watch.2. At no point did I feel rushed, Simon always checked were we ready to move on. If he felt we could be better placed he always asked...can we move a little bit further to see a different angle or be in better light.3. Simon was passionate and this really showed when we spotted an ardwolf, he took great interest in what we observed.4. At no point were we ever late jumping into the vehicle and set off at the earliest times we could, and arrived back after the afternoon safari as late as we could.5. The food throughout the 7 night safari was amazing! The tents were comfortable and despite the very very cold nights, I never felt cold once wrapped up in bed!6. I would love to have Simon as a guide again...and Mac, Beauty and Bill supporting us. I can only imagine being able to discover some of the larger cats and being able to sit and watch their behaviour (something I am used to doing on my many previous safaris)7. Compared to our first safari it was much much better value for money.Thank you to Real Africa safaris -- a safe careful driver, delicious food, a lover of photography and a very patient and expert guide.Posted on Tripadvisor Afiqah HVerified Amazing, amazing, amazing We had the most incredible experience with Simon from Real Africa Safaris. Simon’s enthusiasm and extensive knowledge of the reserve and wildlife allowed us to see 4 out of 5 (there aren’t any rhinos we discovered in the Chobe national park for poaching reasons) over the two days that we were there. Could not recommend camping in the bush enough - the food was delicious and everything was made extra comfortable for us! We loved every second of it. Thank you Simon & team!Posted on Tripadvisor John TVerified Camping Safari Real Africa Safaris provided an excellent camping safari adventure. Simon is highly experienced as a guide and tour operator. He is very reliable, courteous, and helpful with all the details of the safari. This was our second time going on safari with Simon, and he and his assistants made both trips exceptionally good.Posted on Tripadvisor Henry NVerified 100% Genuine African experience We had an amazing experience with Real Africa and would highly recommend them. Our guide Simon was exceptional. He was full of knowledge and knew exactly where to take us to find Game. Very reliable and organised from pick up to drop off. We were travelling as a family of 5 with my elderly in laws and our 8 month old son who was cared for to the highest standards. We would recommend Simon and Real Africa Safaris Chobe to anyone looking for a real African experience.Thank you once again for your amazing service and see you again next year!Posted on Tripadvisor Francis vVerified Real Africa with Simon Simon is guide with humor and very much knowledge about Chobi/nature/etc. We had a very good trip with him. He took us out for two days, 2 adults, 4 kids, he really knows how to show real Africa with all respect for nature. Would recommend his trips!Posted on Tripadvisor LizelleVWVerified Exceptional Chobe camping We did a 2 day 2 night camping trip with Real Africa Safari Botswana- including a river boat trip and morning & afternoon game drives. Simon was the best guide! He has an amazing amount of knowledge about all the animals and birds of the area. He is patient and gave us all the time in the world to take pictures - even making sure we had the best light and angles! Camping was well sorted and we felt like royalty! Thank you so much to Simon and his guys for making this the trip of a lifetime!!!Posted on Tripadvisor Craig EVerified Simon and Real Africa Safaris is the best!!! Extraordinary and incredible, but those words don't do justice to a trip with Simon. We did a 2 day, 1 night boat/safari/camping in Chobe National Park. Simon is incredibly knowledgeable in not only finding the animals, but he knows their behavior which provided advanced notice to us for some great photos. He also keep lighting in mind when positioning the vehicle or boat for great photos. We always felt safe, comfortable and well informed with Simon. We would absolutely recommend Simon for the ultimate Africa experience. We even had honey badger, elephants and hyena walk trough our campsite.Posted on Tripadvisor smjpdsVerified Awesome day viewing so many animals in their natural habitat. We spent a day where Simon drove us through the park and he was great on spying animals for us to see, knowledgeable, timely, and patient. He got us to a delicious lunch venue on the Chobe river and to a nature viewing with a great captain who had also great skills at spotting wild life.
